Kai Kahele, along with his supporters, will officially submit his nomination for Governor of the State of Hawaii and announce important campaign developments, including a commitment to other candidates and the people of Hawaii.

The candidacy will take place on Monday, June 6, 2022 at the State Elections Office in Pearl City.

The congressman will travel to Washington DC after the event to vote for sweeping gun reform.

That Commit to KeikI Initiative will host its fourth in a series of virtual roundtables featuring Hawaii’s 2022 gubernatorial nominees. On Monday, June 13 at 7 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to hear Republican gubernatorial candidate Lynn Mariano’s stance on early childhood issues and learn more about the Commit to Keiki’s efforts to ensure Hawaii’s next governor is himself for early education and child care and domestic violence uses prevention and mental health.

Join the Keiki Initiative to host a virtual discussion forum with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Vicky Cayetano

On Tuesday, June 14 at 7 p.m., the Commit to KeikI Initiative will host their second talk story forum with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Vicky Cayetano. Attendees will have another opportunity to hear Cayetano’s perspective on early childhood issues, including policy discussions on early learning and child care, preventing domestic violence and mental health.
