Fishing and diving tournament nets good size Tako and Oama

The Maui Boardsailing Association’s 34th Annual Fishing and Diving Tournament brought in a couple of three-pound “tako” or octopuses and some sizeable oamas at the weekend event held on Saturday, August 6 at Kanahā Beach Park in Kahului .

The free competition included divisions 12 and under and 13 and over. The results are published below:
