Hawaii Tourism Authority Seeks Marketing and Management for the US Market

The Hawaii Department of Tourism has launched a call for proposals for marketing and management services for destination brands in the United States’ major market area, the islands largest visitor market.

The quote request scope has been changed to include destination management services, in line with the Hawaii Tourism Authority‘s new vision of Malama Kuu Home (Caring for My Beloved Home) through the principles of regenerative tourism.

The agency’s goal is to help the community have a bigger voice in the future of tourism, with an emphasis on regenerating the environment, maintaining Hawaiian culture, recognizing Hawaiian multiethnic cultures, and supporting responsible business communities Results.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) will select the company that is most qualified and able to provide a full range of comprehensive brand marketing and management services for the Hawaiian Islands.

HTA urges all interested applicants to register their application intent by October 15, 2021. Details on this requirement can be found in the full text of the call for tenders (RFP).

HTA will also hold a virtual pre-proposal conference on Zoom in the week of October 18, 2021, at which interested applicants can be informed about the procurement and can ask questions.

The new contract begins on January 1, 2022 and replaces the current contract, which is expected to expire this year.

The application deadline is November 12, 2021, 4:30 p.m. HST. The deadlines are noted in the advertisement and can be changed if necessary.
