What you should know

The Colorado State Rams and Hawaii Rainbow Warriors will battle it out in a duel in Mountain West on November 20 at 11:00 PM ET at the Clarence TC Ching Complex. Both teams lost their last game so they will be very motivated to take the “W”.

Colorado State lost 35:21 to the Air Force Falcons last week. Offensive, no one had an outstanding game for the Rams, but RB David Bailey led the way with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, it was 10-10 at halftime, but Hawaii wasn’t exactly level with the UNLV Rebels in the second half when they met last week. The Rainbow Warriors took a 27-13 hit in the losing column. A silver lining for them was WR Nick Mardner’s game, who caught four passes for a TD and 119 yards. One of the most exciting moments was Mardner’s 79-yard TD reception in the first quarter.

That next game is expected to be close, with Colorado State ending with just one 3-point favorite. Now may not be the best time to beat Colorado State against the spread as they have failed bettors for the last four consecutive games.

Colorado State is now 3-7 while the Rainbow Warriors are sitting at 4-7. Two defensive stats to keep in mind while watching: The Rams are 193rd of the worst in the nation on allowed pass touchdowns, with 17 in the season. Hawaii has seen some troubles of its own as they stumble into the competition with the 225th most hasty touchdowns allowed in the nation after giving up 22 in the season. It is possible that one of those Achilles heels could trip the losing team.
