HONOLULU (KHON2) – People on Oahu can get a free COVID test at five other locations in Waianae, Kailua, Mililani and Pearl City.

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) has added another drive-through COVID test site in the Waianae District Park parking lot starting Sunday, September 19. The test times are every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until October 31st.

The park is located at 85-601 Farrington Hwy and will be similar to HFD’s other test sites on Aloha Stadium and Ewa Mahiko District Park. According to the HFD, the PCR test will be performed and the results will be announced within two to three days. Appointments are not required, but attendees can pre-register here.

The Department of Health of Hawaii (DOH) has also added four new COVID test sites in the Oahu area, and all sites will offer the mid-turbinate PCR test. The test results should be available via email the same day.

Here is a list of the DOH’s COVID test sites:

  • ElixRX Pharmacy Kailua – Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Parking lot of the Kaiser Permanente Nanaikeola Clinic – Sundays and Mondays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Mililani Recreation Center 6 – Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Pearl City Mall – Tuesday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
