Huy Vo has been appointed Director of Marketing Communications at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has announced the appointment of Huy Vo as Director of Marketing Communications. In this position, he will lead all global strategic marketing communications efforts in advertising, digital marketing, public relations and community relations for the largest Ritz-Carlton Residences in the brand’s portfolio.

Vo has over 15 years of PR and marketing experience specializing in luxury travel and hospitality. He served as Marketing Director for the resort’s ownership group since 2015 before joining the brand in 2018 as Director of Public Relations. In this capacity he was awarded Leader of the Year in 2020. Under his leadership, the resort was named Oahu‘s highest-ranked luxury resort in Travel + Leisure’s 2022 World’s Best Awards. Prior to joining the resort, he held leadership positions in public relations and marketing at The Kahala Hotel & Resort, Hawaiian Airlines, Communications Pacific and Bright Light Marketing.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Vo graduated from McKinley High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Public Relations Society of America Hawaii and the McKinley High School Foundation. Vo also received the Young Public Relations Professional of the Year Award (2011) and the President’s Leadership Award (2015), both from PRSA.
