Four Seasons Resort Oahu, Ko Olina, an award-winning private resort on the quiet west coast of Oahu, announces the appointment of Jason de Vries as Resort Manager for the 370-room luxury resort. De Vries has been a luxury hotel veteran for 15 years, most recently from the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC, where he was a hotel manager.

As Resort Manager, de Vries will oversee the day-to-day operations of Oahu’s premier luxury resort, including managing the guest rooms and suites, the Naupaka Spa & Wellness Center, five different restaurants and lounges, and collecting unforgettable guest experiences. He will also be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Four Seasons core standards to ensure that all guests receive the best possible service during their stay.

Before joining the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC as Hotel Manager, de Vries was Director of Rooms. During his tenure and leadership of the hotel, the hotel achieved a coveted Forbes 5-star rating and the highest GES scores. Before moving to the country’s capital, he held various management positions at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston and the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles in Beverly Hills.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he went to college eastbound and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in International Hotel & Tourism Management. In his spare time, de Vries enjoys spending time with his husband, traveling the world, visiting museums, training and participating in marathons.
