According to the Hawaii Tourism Authorityflew more than two million tourists to Maui in 2021 spending billions upon billions of dollars.
Here’s a look at the top 10 things to do on Maui:

- Front Street in Lahaina
- Inland Maui
- Whalers Village shopping center
- Kahului Airport Rental Car Center
- Kaanapali Kai Golf Course
- Hana / Road to Hana
- Lahaina Cannery Mall
- Lahaina Market Place Shopping Mall
- City of Paia
Some other notable places further down the list are:
- Azeka mall
- The shops in Wailea
- Kaanapali Beach
- The Bay Course at Kapalua Resort
- HA Baldwin Beach Park
- Wharf Cinema Center
- Shopping center Maui Mall
Despite the global coronavirus pandemic, tourists still flew to the islands for their Hawaiian vacation. 2021 was better than 2020 for tourism in Hawaii.
Businesses and hotels are now bracing for 2022 and anticipating better numbers as more people in the state and country get vaccinated and empowered, and the Oahu Safe Access program ends after March 5.
