Waimalu Plaza offers a variety of dining options for Hawaii residents

Honolulu (KHON2) – Waimalu Plaza brings the delights to Hawaiians with an array of dining options.

Waimalu Plaza offers a mix of familiar and friendly shops with the goal of providing Hawaiian families with easy and quick one-stop shopping and dining.

“We love the community that surrounds Waimalu Plaza. As we got to know our regular customers, the community has become like family to us,” says Mang Sisounthone, owner of Thai Village at Waimalu Plaza.

The Thai Village at Waimalu Plaza is one of nine restaurants available to customers. For those wanting to experience Vietnamese food rather than Thai, shoppers can dine at Pho 97.

“We chose the Waimalu Plaza because it has ample parking and is in close proximity to other shops and restaurants. The Waimalu community has been vocal about our dishes and it means a lot to us as many of the recipes were passed down from my mother,” says Thien-Phu Doan Do, owner of Pho 97.

Shoppers looking for an upscale dining experience can dine at Paesano, an Italian restaurant on the corner of Waimalu Plaza.

“My family had a great relationship with the Waimalu Plaza leadership team and when I went with them to see this place, I fell in love. We’ve been 14V since then,” says Billy Rattanasamay, owner of Paesano Italiano restaurant.

Waimalu Plaza is open daily with select shop and restaurant hours.
