LIST: Maui Lane Closures, Dec 6-12 August

The state Department of Transportation will conduct road works this week that will result in lane closures in various locations. Lane closure schedules are subject to change without notice. All projects are weather dependent.

— Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) —

Lahaina: Left lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road Tuesday, August 9 through Thursday, August 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for landscaping of the central reservation possible.

Kanapali: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) southbound between Kakaʻalaneo Drive and Kai Malina Parkway/Halawai Drive Tuesday, August 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for channel testing.

Piʻilani Highway (Route 31)

Kihei (24/7 change): The Piʻilani Highway (Route 31) was reduced to two lanes (one lane in each direction) between Kaonoulu Street and Piʻikea Avenue and Kūlanihākoʻi Street at Piʻilani Highway and restricted to right entry/right exit for Phase 1 of Kīhei Roundabout construction. — Hāna Highway (Routes 36/360) —

Pāʻia/Haʻikū: One-lane closure possible in both directions on Hāna Highway (Route 36) near Hamakuapoko Road (Miliko Gulch) Monday, August 8 through Friday, August 12, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for Hāna Highway rockfall protection surveys.

—Maunaloa Hwy (Route 460) —

Maunaloa (weekend/week work): One lane closure of Maunaloa Highway (Route 460) in both directions between mile markers 7.25 and 16.54, Maunaloa Village to Mahana, Saturday, July 6 and Monday, August 8 through Friday, August 12 from 7:00 am until 5 p.m. for paving.
