Maui Jim and Hui Nalu exit the port of Kahului during the Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association season-opening race on Friday. The Kahului to Kaanapali race and Sunday’s Kaanapali to Waimanalo race were both won by Olukai. The next races are scheduled for July 9-10 from Waimanalo to Haleiwa. On August 20, the fleet races from Haleiwa to Kauai.
